A Short Poem For You

Time goes on 
Then today is gone
Friends come and go
Some  fast, some slow
The best of these stay
To explore and play
Through the good and bad
Memories happy then sad
Of these, I would say
I'm so glad that you stay
I know I'm less than clever
But there has never been an ever
When I would want you to go
I can only hope you know
