There is a circle of colors in this world

All of them ripe and ready to be swirled

None of them less than the others

All of them our sisters and our brothers

None of them do less than matter

Without even one this world would shatter

We need to do those things that bring together

Those are things that make life all the better

When we do what brings division

Be it acts of hate or even simple derision

We lessen the overall beauty and quality

Needed in our one big happy dysfunctional family

The past is the past and cannot be undone

We have today and tomorrow to be lived under the Son

So let’s put all this anger in a box and throw away the locks
