There was really something quietly particular

That made this revolution a bit irregular

The idea that the people should live

Freely with all the rights God does give

No longer shackled to a rule of man

But given the right to pursue what we can

There engraved in this special constitution

Were the illuminated causes of the revolution

That man might live as all for one and one for all

There living particularly under this rule of law

Men would fight and die so that we might live free

Dedicated to the propositions of justice and liberty

Some would darken these causes in mockery

Failing to forgive folly along the way in our history

…. they could not be more wrong…
