The neoclassical new age group Mannheim Steamroller is renown for its blend of classical with new age and rock.  This is particularly so for its Fresh Aire series and it’s modernistic versions of Christmas music.

Mannheim’s third Christmas album was Christmas In the Aire.  This was originally released in 1995 and was the biggest selling holiday album in the United States that year. As of 2014, it was rated as the fifth best selling Christmas/holiday album in the United States.
