Before ever I forget those that I cherish

Who linger in my heart as much as the girls and you

Cherished moments and feelings linger as they do

Each of you, the notes of the melody that I  play

Each of you the breath of life that I live and pray

As I spend time alone on this sacred Christmas day

I think back on how intertwined you are in every way

Without you I know that I am far less than nothing

Yes, cherish truly is the word that I use to describe
