“Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better man.” ~ Benjamin Franklin

These thoughts apply equally to every man and woman. Now, I know that very nearly all of the readers here are as close to perfected as they might be. Still, it might be also that this look a the self improvement system of Benjamin Franklin could be worth a short look at if you’re struggling to come up with a resolution or two for this coming year?
For myself, although I admit that I failed to accomplish most items on 2017’s list for me, I routinely set 3 or more goals per four sides of life: God/Family/Career/Personal. This year I think I only maybe got one out of each of these categories done. Later today, we’ll take a closer look at goals and set a new set of these for 2018. Usually, I use the time from my birthday through today to come up with a worthy set of aspirations for the next year. This year, I’ve had the girls on visitation and between that and keeping up on my blogging goals, I have so far only had a preliminary look at this tradition.
So, at this point, the best I have is to encourage everyone that even the most perfect of you have things that you might still achieve, work toward, aspire to and make greater efforts toward peace, warring on your vices, and/or helping to make this world just a little better before each of us passes to the adventure awaiting us at the end of our lives here. Who is with me?
