Time Spent With the Harvard Classics – The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin

Founding Father, polymath, author, printer, political theorist and so many other vocations and avocations, Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17, 1706 and passed away on April 17, 1790.    Aloha Promises Forever, has previously discussed the life of “The First American”.  No one can doubt the influence this gentleman has had on shaping and influencing the future that America became and even lasting until today.

The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin is the traditional name for the journal of his life written by Franklin from 1771 to 1790.  Despite this, it should be noted that Franklin himself had come to refer to this work as his Memoirs.  It is among the most influential examples of an autobiography written to date.
