Time Spent With the Harvard Classics: The Dhammapada

The Dhammapada is a collection of verses reflective of the sayings of Buddha is among the most widely read and best known Buddhist scriptures.  The original version of this work is found in the Khuddaka Niykaya.  This is a division of the Pali Canon of Theravada Buddhism.  Almost by tautology, this work is the doctrine of eternal truth and righteousness to the Buddhists.
