Born on November 3, 1500, Italian goldsmith, sculptor, soldier, musician and artist Benvenuto Cellini became fame for his poetry and autobiography prior to his death on February 13, 1571.  He was one of the most famous artists of Mannerism.  Aloha Promises Forever has previously discussed his life and legacy as well as the importance of his autobiography.  Please reference these prior posts with respect to this reading based on a tutorial.
