The Day Three challenge is to compose a poem based in some way on a list. Someone suggested things that come in three. Why not?
Comes In Threes by Michael Romani Like three books in a triology I read as you and me formed we They say things come in threes I am happy we are one of these Like the three lines of a haiku I find my rest in holding you Like three coins in a fountain My faith could move a mountain Keeping you near and feeling proud Finding three or more is a crowd I don't want to seem too demanding But your love is like a three point landing Capturing my soul like the Trinity Your eyes, a glimpse into Divinity Whispers from the three wise men Couldn't give more now than then Dreaming of happy coming years It brings three fantastic cheers Like the three flavors of Neapolitan Your confidence in me brings me Zen Because you're three times a lady Like a tall drink of cool and shady Like a three penny opera well played I am so very glad that you stayed (c) April 3, 2018 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
