Okay, so sometimes I live my life like a Toys R Us Kid….. but…I was at a poetry workshop yesterday and we were looking at how to correctly do blank verse poems. This is the second one I came up with as a short run through on the technique.
Blank Verse Childhood by Michael Romani Skinned knees, climbed trees, in my childhood daydreams Played cards, old shards, as we explored backyards Finding something in all of that nothing That adds up to all my something cherished Sun kissed, still missed moments of bliss lived in The past that has become my kept treasure Kept in my back pocket for days like this (c) April 7, 2018 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
