Looking on, it is astonishing how the hands of God spread
And all the destinations on which they’ve quietly led
The world is filled with so much of what we call beauty
That I feel, in part, it is my utmost Christian duty
To faithfully photograph and to my best report
All of these things as best they might comport
Every sight seen is a marvelous part of God’s artistry
Imbued within His consistently ever changing pageantry
Dancing along the edges of His painted tapestry
I stand back and admire the breadth of His mastery
Every stroke of His brush across the morning skies
Has me breathless to see the next beautiful sunrise
To say that He is the greatest artist ever seen
Would be to say to little from the lips of this human being
