Hillary approached wishing to be presidential

Her party groomed her with soft platitudes

But not enough to make up for her attitudes

While an outsider came along to Trump her

Leaving her in a frenzied and disquieted  blur

The man rose up from the American ranks

Filled with gratitude for his nation and gave thanks

To those who deserved it perhaps the most

He heralded the return of the American ghost

Daring to speak his mind on making his nation great again

He would suffer and indulge no fools as he stole our attention

His was the America built on the shoulders of the brave

And for which he would rebel against the elite and serve to save
