Pray Without Ceasing

Being anxious for nothing
As we pray on all things
Always without ceasing
And ever increasing
Living an attitude of prayer
Keeping God's presence there

Wrapped up in moments
Releasing us from torments
Led by the Lord in all we do
All of us, me and you
Released from the rituals
For peace that is habitual

Praying through our complexity
Removed to our simplicity
Seeking God in earnest
Even when we don't deserve this
In our anxiousness that we don't
Giving our thanks even when we won't

Feeling a bit reflective 
With faith in the connective
Between us and God
No matter how odd
That may seem at time
Stumbled in our rhymes
