In all sense and longing for fairness
You find it hard to believe that
The world around us couldn’t care less
Yet, it’s just a natural sort of fact
That while wide is the gate of destruction
It runs counter to God’s holy instruction
For narrow is the gate that leads to heaven
We remember this with wine and bread unleaven
There is only one path that traces the light
Only one way for mortal man to get this right
It’s a difficult passage that leads to true life
Filled with pain and joy and peace with strife
The challenge is will you be one of the few
Who keep to this path and, in faith, remain true?
