Like a jigsaw puzzle, we fit this together

Feeling the truth of being better together

I struggled with the initiative of saying hi

Feeling certain I would get no reply

But much to my happiness, I’ve been blessed

In so many ways that I would have never guessed

As each of our days has since passed by

And love has grown where I was afraid to try

Each day passes and a new layer reveals

Another reason to love her and all she feels

It seems that maybe when things were their worse

This poet found his muse and a reason to write verse

One day I photographed her wearing One Love

And all I have done since is thank Heaven above
