Though often thought creepy, the deep marsh definitely holds its beauty.
Deep Marsh Roses by Michael Romani When poised with the question of the deep marsh Most people think first in terms of things harsh But, were you to ask Alice about the marsh rose She'd tell you of beauty not things that decompose There on the trails we find much contemplation Wanderings of the mind held with fascination Such as how do tadpole eggs know when to grow tails And how does a hobo choose which way to ride rails Sometimes the things we find out along the way Are things that make being lost worth an entire day Like hidden waterfalls made by God to be found After spending hours lazily clomping around Some of the best things I've have found Were found while feeling lost and out of bound There on the edges of life is the creativity That as beautiful as marsh roses means so much to me (c) October 8, 2018 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
