Not a law firm but a continuing theme….
Strange & Eternal by Michael Romani Strange and eternal We walk into the infernal Nightmare of crimson skies Mist rising before our eyes Walking alone down a dirt road Remembering lessons learned and things told Father said life required cruelty I always found that a blasphemy Haunted deep beneath my eyes Like the new dawn painted with red skies Life is often naked in its solitude Its abrasively shattered in its rectitude Ancient rituals of Abraxas come to light There in the ethereal darkness of night All the tales we choose to believe The tiny lies by which we deceive Ourselves and all these held as other We mockingly call them sister and brother In all the stories we had read The one we live brings the most dread All the secrets that we ignore Pretending death isn't knocking on the door We play our panpipe echoes in this night Hoping to somehow make things right Listening in on our souls' silence As each heartbeat breathes its violence This is the thought of what we deserve As we cater to the demons that we serve (c) January 7, 2019 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
