Walk Alone by Michael Romani When Satan fell from heaven He did not fall alone In this world filled with darkness I wish I had a heart of stone You may think me silly But is man kind, really? In a dealt out hand I must fold or stand It's mankind's great tragedy That we so often align With all the things of fallacy Preferring darkness to light and to see Seeing this truth unfold I speak plainly as I'm told That truth will set us free I remain hopeful of that possibility But so many times, I walk alone Keeping my loyalty to the heavenly throne But, then making so many mistakes That all that's left is to embrace the heartbreaks (c) February 22, 2019 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
