A Writer's Block by Michael Romani Writing a story with acuity Is like mental archeology There's madness in the methodology And then the semblance of truthful theology There are always buried things That unbury themselves as the new day brings The hidden into the revealed And new things come to light no longer concealed Too many snapped judgments are tangled In confluence of meaning that are mangled So much of everything is subjective interpretation So little of it subjected to deep contemplation There is always much we do not know The little things that on their own seem to grow It's in the playground of this literary art That wonderment is spoken from the heart Venerable tales told in the twinkling of light That capture the moments of dream filled night Book ended between spirals of creation The author is caught usurped by glimpsed fascinations (c) September 11, 2019 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
