New Day Begun

A trend in the 21st century is finding ever increasing value in team and cohesion working in collaboration to finding needed solutions.  While I’ll never devalue the power of one, I think there is also much merit in working together.

New Day Begun
by Michael Romani

From the small talk of conversation
Comes the roots of great collaboration
Where the fragments of imagination
Find their way to integration

It's in the meeting of random faces
In all of those brought together places
That we begin to make our best choices
Sprinkled interlaced with the strangeness of voices

Strength is found in these connections
That ring us through to new directions
As the God flow finds it sway to flow
And we learn to know beyond the no

Into those moments of gentle affirmation
As though saying yes to yes is an incantation
We who find our way to anticipate
Are the ones most able to play and participate

As co-creators of this marveled universe
As one of the many in the vast multi-verse
We find our vibrations begin to tingle
As a mixed tape plays and we begin to mingle

Finding our way to the places we belong
Feeling safe as if notes within our song
A song that belongs after all to everyone
It's here then that the new day is begun
