Based in part on Philippians 2:13:
Finding Our Time In Waiting
by Michael Doyle
Patience in waiting is hard to do
I wonder if it's the same for you
Yet, waiting reminds us of our need
For God as the we know and plead
That we must each have an intervention
One that often comes as an intermission
This comes often when we've turned away
It's a time to regather and reclaim His day
It's a time before failure and success
That which we need to come out best
This then is the time we need to renew
Our relationship with God in His view
And from this we are re-energized
Becoming more than we've realized
We can be to God's greater glory
Remembering the doing of His story
It's God who always gets things done
Despite the fact we think we're the one
It is He who is truly the necessary
We tag along despite sometimes being contrary
There is the good we find at the cross
Trembling as we at the gain and loss
As learn and do our very best part
At the foot in prayer to His sacred heart
