Depth of Field by Michael Doyle F-stops along the way Effect the sharpness of the day Owed all to the depth of field Is the clarity with which you yield Layers of composition Provide the focused position Behind the telling of story Framed for the teller's glory The world's chaos and clutter Can cause a person to mutter Until this tool is used To clean up images for the bemused Shallow depth gives exclusion So that a photo has less intrusion It's not necessarily the notes we play But the notes we get out of the way The bigger the hole in the lens The faster the shutter speed How big of a hole just depends On the ambient lighting and what you need Yet, soft focus waxes lyrical Edging at times on the mystical Popping the magic of eyes To the touches that tantalize (c) April 6, 2020 Michael Doyle All Rights Reserved
