Based in part on Romans 12:1-8:
Knowing and Doing God's Will by Michael Doyle Asking the right sort of questions Seeking His will without hesitation Why then should we willing to obey What and how do we do this every day Starting with the knowledge of the why It's found in the Gospel's loving sigh In response to the grafting of the vine We do so in response to mercy divine Because of all He has so lovingly done Lives laid on the altar acceptable to the one To whom we must live in our obedience Keeping His commandments with expedience We must in live this truth in our presence Facing our challenges with effervescence We then open to living as to God's will As step by step, this will transform and reveal Immersed as we are in the Word and prayer Conforming to all that you will find there If you do this then, you will live a life that's good Doing all those things we really should Getting in the Word and living it for all its worth Is how we at last find and live our true north Keeping these ways in all grace and humility We keep the faith of our loving humanity Shining our love with all of our prayerful capability We walk our walk, talking our talk in accountability To refrain from our Godly gifts is to be in our sin Through the omission of things needed again To be able to do this to our utmost ability We must walk side by side in faithful community Sharing our gifts as God would want us to do These are the things expected of me and of you (c) July 15, 2020 Michael Doyle All Rights Reserved
