Red Hot Queen
by Michael Doyle
She would tell her king
Of her fanciful desire to rule
While she'd laughingly sing
About beaches and pools
And he would look in her eyes
And without semblance of doubt
He would smile and realize
That they might work it out
So long as she makes him smile
He had no need for any title
As her kiss serves to beguile
And that is, after all, what is vital
Queen Jerzzie of his beach
Dressed in her floral crown
Kept him lovingly in reach
Keeping his smile from his frown
Long live the red dress queen
As long as that life was by his side
Played out like a movie scene
For which he took much happiness and pride
