The Chi Within All

Venesha, the Enchanted Isle - Enter the Phoenix
The Chi Within All
by Michael Doyle

It matters not, woman or man
Each is to yield chi as they can
It is not for a father to say
Which is who and what's the way

There in the essence of control
Where one's power finds one's soul
There is no time for any talk
That would take away one's walk

The phoenix stands in front of the shrine
Waiting for the warrior to shine
Bringing precious honor to family
Each must become who they must be

A silken caravan on the road
Plays the part of the Gypsy has foretold
Shadows play into one another
Coming as disruption to us as no other

Coming from beyond the edge of death
Shadow warriors once again draw breath
As the holder of the imperial throne
Stands as firm and hard as a stone

A shapeshifting witch and warrior tears
AS the timorous hearted each must beware
Nothing can or will stand in the way of darkness
They have risen into this world of harshness

But one who stands on behalf of the light
Will hold firm until she has made it right
As life comes upon us all in its test
Each knows what it must do to be its best
