Never Enough of You

Cherishville - With You By My Side
Never Enough of You
by Michael Doyle

I didn't know what I was after
Until I heard your sweet laughter
I hadn't a clue what I was missing
Until you and I were kissing

Never felt a hand that felt so right
Until you were holding mine tight
Never seen eyes so beautiful
Until I woke into yours so wonderful

It's quite the road we're traveling
As our story keeps up its unraveling
Thread by thread, I keep the count
Mystified by the finding what it's all about

The every moment that I spend
With you as my lady and my friend
Are moments so precious to me
Filled with love and possibility

Had they told me there'd be days like this
I would have sworn to find you, kiss by kiss
Dreamy eyed, island girl you make me soar
With each memory we build, I want more and more

Now it's off to my adventure for me
Let's hope later today that we'll see
A few more smiles on each other's face
The kind of kindness I'll never replace

You make me believe everything will be alright
As you hold me close and grab on tight
Until I return, know how deeply I love you
For all of those wonderful things you do

Like just being you when I need my smile
Like making every turn of event be worth while
And telling me that you'll always love me too
It seems that I can never get enough of you
