“I believe in an America where the free enterprise system flourishes for all other systems to see and admire — where no businessman lacks either competition or credit — and where no monopoly, no racketeer, no government bureaucracy can put him out of business that he built up with his own initiative.” – President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963)
JFK would surely be turning over in his grave at what the Left is doing to the free enterprise system in which business persons are being told that they did not build their own businesses on their own initiatives, business persons are denied credit on the basis of race in some instances (think of the installation of credit extended to black farmers but not white farmers), where Big Tech is being allowed to operate as monopolies and trample basic essential rights guaranteed in the First Amendment, where BLM and other racist groups are allowed to extort businesses and society engaging in activities previously described as racketeering, and government bureaucracies are indeed imposing fines while driving up operation costs and otherwise acting to put private enterprises out of business. This is even before the imposition of restrictive tax rates that will kill jobs and severely limit profit. I lift my voice in prayer that such things turn around and we as a nation realize this is not the way to help our nation to thrive and succeed.
