Echo Chambered
by Michael Doyle
I've tried to fit in
But here we are again
So many interested in the echo
Chambered and not the ebb and flow
To me, I find a lot to think on
As I watch life's tides flow
Too little time for arguing on
Things that, at best, we think we know
Picking targets easy to shoot
Without questioning what each contributes
That is as long as the target isn't you
Just about any enemy will do
When I remind you of the Constitution
You burn it down for your revolution
As though it doesn't really matter
And could care less if society shatters
It's an open ended kind of conspiracy
Wide open and without depth or mystery
It really matters little, except for your way
And the rule of law is an antique of yesterday
