In A Walk of Faith

Neverending - A Walk Taken
In A Walk of Faith
by Michael Doyle

The heartbeat behind the day to day
is to find our way to Jesus along the way
It's hard to lean into more enthusiasm
Than to find anything but optimism

In a walk of faith, we are awestruck
In how we move beyond being thunderstruck
It can seem different with hands in surrender
Passions expressed so warm and tender

Faith imprints every seed of our future
It is all the good vibes we nurture
But not going up into a nebulous nothing
Instead, we surrender all to God's something

Faith is the trust that is tested
In His love, we are peacefully rested
Not in something old that is dusted
But in His word in which we've trusted

Walking through the valley of brutality
As life teaches us its divine theology
Step-by-step, we walk along as we pray
The deposits and withdrawals of everyday

There in the miracle of walking without falter
Are the gentle, yet strong impressions from our Father
Sometimes you have to give up to go up
Drinking from the waters of life's winning cup
