Standing Against Gender Identity Ideology

I.

Warnings from the church
Right the bell of gender
An articulated reality
Or a decision capriciously made

Are women to have rights
Or does post-modernist Marxism
Erase these differences based on secrecy
Propelled into an intercultural revolution

Fracture of family and identity
Questions the basis of who we are
In disassociation with male and female
Technology allows a sense of malleable identity

Gender dysphoria has run rampant
But our bodies are not simply a screen
With random projections, but, is a compass
To be read correctly as a gift from God

II.

Post-structuralism steps into the discursive
A man cannot step into a woman's space
It is not just a construct but a truth
Now humanity struggles with its articulation

The genesis of gender takes into account
Concepts in development only confuse the confused
Its entrenchment is anti-realist
These constructs - male and female - are the truth

These are not some facades trying to be imposed
But the way that God and nature has intended
Something that has been done with the rightest intention
And not to be defeated by befuddled contentions

We must not allow this uprooting
Of millions of years of creation's meaning
Genesis speaks the truth of who we are
More importantly, it speaks of our purpose

This body of each of us is a holy sacrament
What language is and does defines our freedom
Are we alienate in a splendid isolation?
Or do we belong and find our rightful purpose?

III.

Life in its performance is not an art
We are not our own source of creation
Gingerbread unicorns belong only in fiction
These are not true categories but illusion

Life is not a game of sex or gender
Academia's imagination is gnostic essentialism
Based on modern myths of gender identity
Unrealized in their potential for subversion

Women came such a long way to not fall back
Humanity is not a society of contradictions
Self-definition makes legal protections meaningless
The system becomes gameable in this open con

Digging with suspicion closes the heart
The mind shortly follows down the wrong paths
Best of minds chase this around to truth again
Like a Christmas address bearing gifts of deep thinking

Gender ideology fundamentally shifts reality
Destroying the vulnerable in their diverse casting
At war with themselves, they do not find unity
In doing this, they tear their worlds apart

IV.

The gnostic temptation is harmful to all
It is the hydra of heresy once again reborn
The impulse to wish away the physical world
Fixes nothing in this problematic world

Human beings are flesh, and thus, physical
But also in natural form of the spiritual
There is no escape into trans-humanism
Chameleon in texture but a chameleon all the same

Culture can distinguish but cannot separate
Fracturing the law protects absolutely no one
Sex over gender choices must be the defining line
Historical moments do not override the true story

Pragmaticism has its place in temporal utility
The digital age has bred this and other ideologies
Where a disembodied world seems somehow more real
The blurring of lines has become dehumanizing

Inter-sex diversion is exception, not a political football
Even as a sex theology, these differences are within a sex
These conditions do not blur each sex's distinct differences
But are concerns to be addressed to individuals

We humans, made in God's image, are first called to holiness
In our journey, we become God's will fully expressed 
Still immersed as we are in the fullness of functionality
We must insist on keeping defined within reality
