A Desecration

Politics take a backseat to the Constitution
Yet some do not like this resolution
But that doesn't make it a wrong
It's the restoration of where law belongs

There is a value that matters to all of life
Where we save the whale, why is there strife?
All life is sacred, is it that hard to agree
All life must be protected, it is clear to see

Then we must bring our house together
Bring our one America to be one better
Decisions are made respecting human dignity
Are a matter of recognizing life's sanctity

Over 62 million deaths at this evil altar
Sacrificed nearly for causes that make me falter
Less than three percent killed for reasonable cause
The rest are killed for recreational choice and bad laws

How can any ethical person deny this right?
The right to life is declared as a guiding light
From the foundation of our great republican nation
To not recognize this is simply put a Desecration
