In every way, people try to push apart
In all the ways that break our hearts
It's one in a million who stay the course
Instead of changing out that tired horse

Too many dreams they just fall apart
In so many ways, it simply breaks our hearts
Desperate souls try to drag each other down
All in the name of the jester's crown

You're my one hundred, ever true
In every way, I hear what you say
I think you're the one that will stay

I see it in all the things that you do
In every way, I hope my words and actions say

Holding your hand to touch your heart
Yours is the love that will never depart
You keep me sane, in a world gone crazy
Bringing clarity on days gone far too hazy

Every time that we talk late into the night
I see your soul and I want to hold it tight
When all has gone wrong and I'm upside down
You bring me smiles to replace my frown
