Three Things In Life

There is something to the power of three
That speaks to heart and soul of divinity
It seems it all begins and ends with love
Without which there is no gaining heaven above

There are three things in life we must not lack
These three things, once gone cannot come back
Time's charm, words spoken, and wasted opportunity
All of these things and taken as part of you and me

Three simple things to simply do and try our best
That make life lived happiness and not a test
Three things that make life easier for us all 
If only we'd do our best to live by and to recall

There are three things that do nothing but destroy
These three things we should endeavor to never deploy
These are anger that makes us a stranger from inside, 
And the lack of forgiveness that often comes from pride

There are three things that regardless of circumstance
Remain uncertain, these are fortune as a matter of chance
Depending so much on the success of chasing out our dreams
All of these three are what make life what it seems

There is a magic to found deep inside the power of three
That make for a life lived in happiness and serendipity
Living by the power of three makes life easier for us all
If only we'd do our best to live by and to duly recall

There are three things that make for life's clarity
That's a commitment to work hard and live with sincerity
There are three things that make life a little vulnerable
But must be had if life is to be in any sense valuable

These are live life with love, family and friends, and kindness
Without which all of life might well be lived in blindness
Unable to see three things in life one should never lose
Hope, peace, and honesty are three things we should all choose

Three simple things to try and simply do to our very best
These make life lived in bumbled happiness and not a test
These three things make life easier and blessed for us all
If only we'd do our best to live by and to readily recall

In this life of uncertainty in which we often rearrange
There are three constants to depend on and never change
These are the Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Son
Living right with these things kept, let God's will be done
