Luke's Account

Luke's account states with prevalence
An account chocked with given evidence
Of what could not be sheer coincidence
For what he witness first hand of providence

Vivid and descriptive in its rich detail
Luke presented the wealth of this tale
456 prophecies which foretold Jesus's story
Of what came about for God's greater glory

Hundreds and even thousands of years 
Many told of the coming of Jesus's coming tears
It's not just a matter of theology
That all of the evidence that defies probability

It's in the numbers that come as improbable
But, in fact, seem mind numbingly impossible
That all the other possibilities are fulfilled
And come down to Jesus as God openly revealed

There is no use in seeking the living in the dead
The stone rolled away with nothing found instead
Most begin with skepticism before reaching belief
Before the reasons for believing are found in relief

As we humans in our pride and full of our arrogance
We live in a world filled with experts of ignorance
It comes down to the crime scene of metacognition
In which we refuse to recognize our mistakes with admission

There exists that which which truly the right and wrong
And what fits and what truly does not really belong
All ideas can never be equally valid points of view
To be objective there is an equal truth for me and you

Of all theories of disbelief none carry the full weight
True holds out beyond the illogic stated for those who wait
And think out the pretenses of all sorts of discrepancy
Each of these examined are will reveal the truth of our theology

There do exist facts that are determined in the face-to-face
With the God that we live and love through and fully embrace
In the essence of every prayer that we live and that we say
As we do now, here on this holiest moments of Easter Day
