Living Love

Trust in the Christ already deified,
His followers were immersed and sanctified.
Each learning forgiveness multiplied,
Leads to the soul's purpose satisfied.

Jesus's example was more than a homily.
It was the living proof given faithfully.
This truth is the process of infinity,
And it is meant for all of eternity.

The waters of Israel are known in discourse
To descend and deliver our faith's resource.
The Jordan River provides life to Galilee,
Yet, the Dead Sea is toxic due to its salinity.

It's as if two results from the same course
Teach us all the choice of how we use a resource.
It comes down to what one does with that given.
It is like this with handling being forgiven.

The elemental truth is that to forgive is to live.
In the end, this is all each of us can truly give.
Without the forgiveness of others, we lose to sin.
Our Heavenly Father expects this of us again and again.

Extending our forgiveness creates life wholly,
To know and live this allows life to be holy.
To refuse to do so creates mutual death and decay.
This sacred principle must be kept every day.

This is the path away from evil and our deliverance
To do anything but this causes our own hindrance.
Remember this when clasping hands to quietly pray.
It is fundamental to living love in God's way.
