We Stand Together

Even in troubled times,
God has all authority.
Struggles may cloud the day,
Yet, we remain family.

Our eyes are fixed on the cross,
But we rest on Jesus' name.
Even David's temporary loss
Did not serve to defame.

We stand together near
Keeping courage in God's company.
We will not fear,
But keep loving God's family.

I am secure in my redemption,
Safe from all the evil done.
There is consistency in contemplation
Found in the Father, Spirit, and the Son.

Bowing down to worship,
Our hands clasped in prayer.
We know our Lord's kinship.
Our king keeps the cost fair.

We stand together near
Keeping courage in God's company.
We will not fear,
But keep loving God's family.
