Life comes so hard that we learn this, The world calls for our earnest discernment. Sometimes we live in overconfidence. Our only answer is living in further obedience.
We are desperately in need of wisdom. However much we live in the kingdom. Life is best approached in prayer, And trusting that God is always there.
What we do in the moments we're not ready Is those things that serve to steady. Solomon had these moments despite his wealth. He learned early to serve more than himself.
Like children, we know not what we do, But if we listen to God, we grab our best clue. Discerning the difference between right and wrong, And determining where God wants us to belong.
Wisdom brings us to the right application Of all that comes with righteous appreciation. We must stay close in our sacred reverence. Let's give His ways our greatest deference.
Respect for the Lord leads to obedience. It's the element that makes the difference. Doing what God wills leads to doing right. All other considerations of fear are brought to light.
Pleasing God becomes our directive. We stand ready in our narrative Because we trust God in all we do And place our faith in Him as we do.
Foolishness only offers what is temporary. While wisdom's reliability stays contemporary. We must build with pillars for a house that will last. A lifelong plan is needed to move beyond our past.
Our wisdom blesses all who are around As the benefits of clear thinking surround All of us with the blessings of service. We begin to live out the Lord's purpose.
When we lack wisdom, we shake the Lord. He knows it's harder for us to move forward. The point of ministry is to provide service. This is our ever-living purpose.
We pray that God grant us wisdom, That we might build the path of the kingdom, Spreading the gospel of love in discerning ways And know righteousness in all our days.
