For All of My Life

For all of my life,
It's been understood.
God is great 
And He is good

There is no promise 
That has ever been broken.
All of His words,
In love, have been spoken.

In my knowing, I know what I know.
Our God is the God of never letting go.
I know this because the Bible tells me so.
It's one of the few things that I truly know.

His is a path of consistency,
Weaved through all of my life.
It's a wholeness to live in integrity.
His peace removes all my strife.

Faithfulness isn't a sometime thing.
It's there in the joy that He will always bring.
I live my life with Heaven in my sight,
And I know His Word will keep me right.

In my knowing, I know what I know.
