These things we need: worship, love and generosity; And in this relationship we live our spirituality. We spend ourselves as God's good and holy family, And in this, we center and find our community.
Daniel has a lot to unpack in his story, All of which exemplifies God's due glory. Brought to learn Babylonian traditions and ways, Daniel remained faithful to godly ways
Humanity itself was the only truth seen as highest. God was banished from the square and Babylonian youth. The flourishing of humanity was seen as the highest goal, But there was no care given to the fragile human soul.
The Tower of Babylon arrogantly focused on humanity. It was a celebration of man's favor in an overt act of vanity. In essence, it was an open rejection of godly ways, Until God signaled the triumph of His theology.
The wisdom of man is sheer foolishness in God's eyes. It is similar to today and easy enough to recognize. The genius of God is easily seen in all of creation. This then should be the basis of every reasonable nation.
We, as humanity, are best in accepting our simplicity At least so much as we see the light of God's complexity. Breathing in just to live enough to breathe out. For the best of us, our trust in God removes our doubt.
We believers walk confidently in God's good protection With sufficient reasons for this in our ready detection. The Designer has set our wants and needs in their place, And all we have to do is to accept the goodness of His grace.
His Word reveals to us the extent of His good glory. It is set forth as the message of His holy story. Whatever name the world exchanges for our identity, God is the final judge that forms our sanctity.
The exclusion of God brings us to a ruinous culture. It takes from us the good things that we must nurture. As believers in God, we must do life in His holy way. It is in this faith that we build our better days.
Finding mercy and peace in our souls Comes down to God, who is wholly in control. Knowing the sovereignty of God in which we trust. We do this in habit, as believers, because we must.
Great is the faith that knows that God provides. In God's love, our truth will always abide. God provides all that we ever truly need. In knowing and living this, we are freed.
This is our best and only real test, Our believing that God's commandments are for the best. However much the world tempts us into the lion's den, We are best kept to faith, never surrendering to sin.
This is our one path, and it is our salvation, Not only ours but for the sanctity of every nation. Acceptance of God's truth in every way, Our repentance is found in the words that we pray.
