Spinning Wheel Spun

Spinning Wheel Spun
by Michael Doyle

When the wheel is spun
And you look at what you've won
You find the truth in what has been done
At the end of it, you're number one.

The crowd gets overly loud,
But you know that it's allowed.
You walk into your scene.
It's how we live the dream.

The street has its symphony
Where's there no time for sympathy.
So you roll your loaded dice
Knowing that you should never think twice.

The lights begin to go down low,
And it tells you more than you know.
Some say it's how you rock-n-roll.
It doesn't matter because it's part of the show.

Everyone has hustle to their game.
Every day of life is more of the same.
To some of us, it's one big rhyme.
To me, we're all destined to do time.
