Moving to the next new neighborhood. Among the things best to be understood, Is that while friendship preserve, A new way of life has a lot to maybe fear.
Each region has it's own peculiar way And there are things we learn not to say If we are to somehow learn to get along. Not everyone is amused by the same song.
There's a heiarchy of familial worship. It's a ranking from spouse to friendship. Once you reach a certain age and place, There's also an acceptance we embrace.
At best if we make it to the exception, We find we continue more as an expectation. We learn to dance the dance of fragility As we stumble across our own flexibility.
There are long lapses in communiation And still we hold to our passing relation. In the blink of society's collapsing eye A friendship might live or it might just die.
We say our goodbyes with forget-me-nots And just as quickly it seems we have forgot. Still we move to new, unfamiliar places We reach out to neighbors as if we remember traces
Of those things that hold our commonality, That is until we arrive at life's complexity, There is the times that we have casually spent, As if time's worth was cheap and easily lent.

Heading out of Australia to escape this Aussie winter. First stop Japan, then UK/Ireland and if work doesn't call me back, onto Chicago. I will make it up as I go along
