With Favor Upon Us All

With Favor Upon Us All
by Michael Doyle

Standing together in our worship
Giving our reverence to His kingship
The Lord above takes control
Securing as He does our every role

Surrounding us with and in His presence
Filling our lives with His blessings
His is the truth and the light
His path is everything that is good and right

Our worship is that very best that we bring
As we lift our voices joined and sing
This song of the Lord's sweetest melody
To be sung by each of us through all eternity

Even if all worldly things are taken
We would still not be forsaken
Though our knees might bend with hearts breaking
Peace is given to us to conquer our shaking

Our lives lived with God's love and His grace
We feel this deep in the Lord's faithful embrace
Steady are the blessings of running this race
Moving forward as we are, wherever we find our place

What is inconceivable in normal times becomes not only possible but actually happens. People are disoriented and scared.” – George Soros on how to manipulate the Covid Pandemic crisis to the Left’s advantage

Thought For the Day: Governments Have Ever Been Known To Hold A High Hand Over the Education of the People

“Governments have ever been known to hold a high hand over the education of the people. They know, better than anyone else, that their power is based almost entirely on the school. Hence, they monopolize it more and more.” – Francisco Ferrer (1857-1909)

Deepest Roots

Boudoir -She's Got Me Floating Round N Round
Deepest Roots
by Michael Doyle

Cast about with questioning looks
There's much to be learned from great books
When we unlock our dulled hesitations
And dare to ask the great questions

Although the human spirit is quite flappable
It doesn't take a lot to realize, we are unconquerable
How is it though that we from youth to old age
And how might it be, we become wise as a fallen sage

There is much searching in our fragile youth
As we go about grasping at straws we call truth
Determining our course to come in our passing days
Set fast as it is in our incalculable ways

The decisions that we determine and precisely make
Ours is the essence of things that we cannot shake
Young Werther himself knew of this greatest sorrow
And Goethe was determined to pave from this tomorrow

Life should be lived determined with fullest passion
With all of that love of life and pleasure of fashion
Shaken as it is with the stirring of private resolution
When it is spoken aloud, it leads to many a revolution
