First Principles: The Republican Principle Demands That the Deliberate Sense of the Community Should Govern the Conduct of Those To Whom They Entrust the Management of Their Affairs

“The republican principle demands that the deliberate sense of the community should govern the conduct of those to whom they intrust the management of their affairs; but it does not require an unqualified complaisance to every sudden breeze of passion or to every transient impulse which the people may receive from the arts of men, who flatter their prejudices to betray their interests.” -Alexander Hamilton (1788)

It’s the Who of Who We’re Supposed To Be

Ocho Tango Place-Dancing Til the Sun Goes Down
It's the Who of Who We're Supposed To Be
by Michael Doyle

Hey now small town lady
You with your golden heart
Let's slip off to somewhere shady
That would be so very smart

To find our way to the pine trees
With a picnic basket of love
Out beneath the cool breeze
While the sun shines above

We'll make our own golden days
As we shine for each other
In a billion tiny, separate ways
And we keep on loving one another

It might be that way for an eternity
That would still be too short a time
Talking about love and you and me
Missing out on this would be a crime

I'm gonna love you right and true
As we make our own good ole days
Thinking it may be that I've dreamed you
It feels so right in a million different ways

I've a feeling, it's who we're supposed to be
Dancing our dance under the moonlight
Caught up in the rapture of every possibility
If we're forever, that would be be just right

Come on and love me in every way you can
I'll love you back and even just a bit deeper
If you'll only love me and let me be your man
It only took a moment to know you're my keeper

And so that is what I am going to always do
Spending every moment that I possibly can
Lady, my happiest moments are with you
I'm going to let you love me like a woman...

First Principles: A Constitution of Government Once Changed From Freedom, Can Never Be Restored. Liberty, Once Lost, Is Lost Forever.

“But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.” – John Adams (1775)

And this is what happens with the next president of the United States having been selected and not legally elected. For anyone who questions why I would say any such thing being that I am very patriotic, I have a question for you. Who has the power to change the electoral process in the Unites States. Correct, state legislatures. Who did in this election? The executive branches and the Federal government. Our freedom has been lost. Or, maybe just taken a detour. I, however, believe what John Adams has stated as quoted above.
