There is a different 
Sort of hero today
We hold just as reverent
Those who touch in this way

There are those who make us think
Taking us right to the brink
In talking truth to power
In mankind's latest hour

Daring us again to dream
Despite the horrors that seem
Giving hope where there is none
Building bridges where we need some

The important stories of our time
Exposing the ugly and the crimes
The trauma of civilization
Focused in the camera's revelation

There is no kind of plan
That forms this kind of man
The new hero makes his demand
Hoping that the viewers understand

...There is no F-stop adjusting
            That will bring back the trusting
