Tonight’s workshop:

What is a Tercou

• 8 line poem of 3 stanzas.
• First 2 stanzas are tercets
• Third stanza is a couplet
• Syllable count is 5/4/5, 5/4/5, 8/6
• Rhyme scheme aba aba aa

After some discussion, it was agreed that I would attempt to write a Tercou on Hurricane Florence.
