Based in part on the Book of Judges:
Samson III by Michael Romani III A judge to this world would arise As deliverer of prophecy advised Vengeance born to be God's hands And take back the Promised Lands He was unlike others; meant for more But, Samson himself was not so sure As much as he sought his people's release What he wished for more was a just peace Nazirite vows had all been kept And still he watched as his people wept Feeling as though they had been forsaken Samson felt certain his all had been taken And God, it seemed, withheld the people's desire While Samson tripped across this ensnaring wire Trapping himself in questions of clouded doubt He was mystified so to how God's will would work out (c) January 13, 2019 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
