Persistent Presence

To really get to know the Lord, you have spend time consistently in His presence.

Wonderland Dark Forest - With Clarity of Presence In Mind

Persistent Presence
by Michael Romani

Prayers we state as need
Aren't always those we heed
When we listen to God's way
Keeping it in our every day

Persistent in the presence of Lord
With words of God serving as our sword
Each syllable that has been breathed
Is needed as truth for the deceived

All meant to find faith on the Earth
Pleasing to God and against the dearth
Of all the many ways we get wrong
As we seek out places to belong

Diligently seeking the Lord's presence
Those who ask do not know deference
But instead take action to find and know
Continuing to ask until we can grow

To ask the right things that we need
Guided by the very Word that we heed
God will bring justice to us day and night
Walking the path of truth into the light

The power of prayer is found in it's persistence
Pressing past all of our life's resistance
Keeping in the refining and all the defining
That brings us to the answers so often consigning

That we must put things always into perspective
Contently taken in our freshly needed reflective
Thoughts in keeping God's path in all of our ways
As the best of ways to live out our best days
