Love and life are becoming increasingly clearer in my mind as part of one and the same. Without love there is no life, without life there is no love. And what of this to a man who has been told he is dying? I would say in a given limited time, one needs to choose wisely and live and love well.
Wolf's Call Coming by Michael Romani The wolf's call is coming I can feel it closing in The circle beats its drumming For all the ghosts passing this way again It's the way of every military man To go out fighting, the very best he can Pushing on and shoving against to persevere This is a time for courage, no wavering in fear She whispers there are twenty seven reasons to love I smile in wondering what she's thinking of Searching into her eyes, I see my twenty eighth And hold fast to this with all of my faith There in the spectra of sight and sound I marvel at this mystery that I have found And how the pleasure of her voice offers sanctuary To a man such as me too often use to the incendiary The time of the wolf is coming and calling Despite this, I find myself so totally falling And I know that even if these are my last days I want to spend them reflecting back her gaze (c) July 22, 2019 Michael Romani All Rights Reserved
