“When two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.” – Richard Dawkins, biologist and author (b. 26 Mar 1941)

Though I absolutely disagree with Dawkins’ opinionated point of view for which this quote was opined, I do agree that though blinded to the facts of this matter, he is right on saying that two equally held opinions do not always have a halfway point. Sometimes a point of view is simply incorrect. In this case after reading and listening to several of Dawkins’ books, I believe him to be correct on some scientific points while absolutely incorrect in his atheistic opinions. Many of his arguments actually work quite deeply against his own thoughts on the matter. It is an amusing contradiction and evidences the fallible nature of humanity.
